1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
2. Add the lime juice and mash the avocados with a fork to your desired consistency (chunky or smooth).
3. Fold in the diced red onion, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeños, and garlic.
4. Season with cumin, salt, and pepper to taste.
5. For the best flavor, cover with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface of the guacamole (to prevent browning) and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
6. Serve with tortilla chips.
Tip: If not serving immediately, save one of the avocado pits and place it in the center of the guacamole to help prevent browning.
